Went to Tommy John Surgery Elementary (next to the local hospital)
Then attended Broken Kneecap Junior High School (yep, also next to the local hospital)
Then off to Rusty Bucket High School – where I was the school’s star sprinter (track and field).
And finally, graduated from Nuts and Bolts U – where again I was the school’s star sprinter (track and field).

After graduating from NB U, then off to my sports announcing career. More on that later.
My name? Well … mom was the local town’s police officer and she pulled my pa over
for “not going the correct speed in town.” We’ll ma and pa met, feel in love, and later started
a family … me being the first – they decided to name me after how they met.
“Well any who” as grandma used to say … off to my career in sports announcing. Below
is the transcript of my first play by play and a copy of the local paper . . .

Local sports hero Speed Trap is now our local sports announcer. Below is him calling his first sports event – of course it’s the local sprint championship race: “The meet is going very well. The weather is nice with a slight breeze. Time for the final race of the day. Their on the starting line. Set command. Their off. Looks like Lefty had the best start, and now Righty has now taken a slight lead. Now it’s Lead Foot that has taken a strong lead as he rushes past. Lead Foot has now taken a very large lead, and it looks like he’s the winner. Congrads to Lead Foot and all the contestants. What a wonderful meet ! This is Speed Trap signing off.”
